Today was about play, laughter, community, and the simple joy of being on a tennis court. After spending a few days away from the court, today felt like coming home after a very long trip!
There is something special about the moments between the points and drills. The friendships, the little celebrations, and the feeling of being completely present with our players brings me a lot of joy. Then there are the details. The shadows stretching across the court, the colors of a racket, the bright yellow tennis balls, and a sky that seems to go on forever. It reminds me that beauty isn't always found in stillness. Sometimes it's found in motion, in connection, and in doing something you love.
I felt very grateful to coaching tennis today with Alex. Grateful to be moving, surrounded by people in my community, and the freedom to play.
